These terms govern your use of this website and every purchase from The House of Kannauj, operated by The House of Kannauj. By using the site or placing an order you accept them.
Who may buy
You must be 18 or older, or buying under the supervision of a parent or guardian, and able to enter a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
Our fragrances
Our attars are distilled by hand from natural botanicals. Colour, viscosity and the opening of a scent can vary slightly from harvest to harvest; this is the nature of natural perfumery, not a defect. Ingredient lists are printed on each product page and carton. Perform a patch test before first use and stop using any product that irritates your skin. Keep away from eyes, flames and children.
Prices and payment
Prices are in Indian Rupees and include GST unless stated. Shipping charges, if any, are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by RBI-regulated payment aggregators; we never receive or store your full card details. We may correct obvious pricing errors and will offer you a full refund if we cannot honour an order.
Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we dispatch your order and send a shipping confirmation. Limited and numbered editions are allocated in the order payments are received and may be limited per patron.
Bespoke commissions
Royal Commissions and engraved items are made for you alone. Their scope, price, timeline and deposit are confirmed in writing before work begins.
Accounts and Google sign-in
Keep your account details confidential. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google to create and secure your account.
